Don’t listen to the first poster about your calorie loss. When you cheer lead, you’ll probably lose around 300-500 depending on how hard you work. It won’t just turn into you losing 1700 calories! But definitely don’t do crash diets, since they just make you gain weight in the end.
3 hours of exercise is pretty intense. my guess is you’re gonna melt off 1700 calories during cheering. make sure you’re replacing them with something good.
protein rich foods like fish, beef, chicken, turkey,
get more carbs than a regular dieter because you’re doing athletic things and need them. 50/35/15 is my measure. where the 50 is % of diet from protein, 35 % from carbs and 15% or less from fats. the fats should be vegetable fats and fish oils. if you’re eating fish like flounder and salmon, you’re getting them. your body doesnt get "fat" from these fats, it gets healthier. you’ve heard of Omega 3s, that’s them.
oh and dont buy an ACAI berry, it’s crap, it does nothing, it’s a scam to make vitamin retailers richer.
Depending on the intensity of practice, you may have trouble keeping up. I know I’d be sucking wind at track practice on that little fuel.
