since Feb I have been working out hard with maybe two rest days and I am not losing weight at all my body is looking more and more like my mom no matter how hard I work. I was always real thin and managed a nice solid thickness( being black) When I turned 25 It was mt breast got larger and my body seem to get wider and now I am fat even wioth all my hard work. my lil sis is 20 and look the same but since she don’t have a kid she not as wide. Since when you cant get the shape you want by working hard. I only eat fish and poultry high veggy and fruit and minimal carbs i work out like 3 hours a day and even queen latifa in her new adds look better then me. Im soooo discouraged what do i do or am I doomed???
How come healthy diet much cardio and workout I am not losing weight.

WATER! thats all i can say……
first off: three hours a day of exercise is way to much, you could get an injury that way. As you get older your metabolism slows down, and since you had a kid, I think that affects it too (though I’m not certain).
Just some general weight loss tips;
Don’t try cutting calories too much, it doesen’t do much good, a good system that I heard for losing weight was your body weight (in Pounds) x 10 should be your calorie consumption.
Eat smaller meals more often whenever convenient.
Carbs aren’t necessarily bad, it is just sugars that are bad, you can eat carbs, just eat whole grains, which help your metabolism.
More Muscle can help speed your metabolism, but if your trying to lose weight for your body shape, then I doubt that would help much.
Other then that, well, I don’t know. Of course you have to take into account your own personal lifestyle. Goodluck!
If you are really being as diligent as you say, then there may be another reason for your lack of weight loss.
Firstly, make sure you are eating enough. If you go below around 1000 calories a day (give or take), your body goes into starvation mode and it will burn less no matter what. So make sure you are getting enough calories, really 1500 – 1800 is best.
You may be working out too much. There are studies that indicate more than an hour a day is ineffective, or much less effective after the first hour.
If you are doing the same exercise since February, you may have hit a plateau and need to change it up. Do different weight exercises, change your cardio. Your body gets used to doing the same thing over and over.
Have you been to a doctor? There may be medical reasons for your struggle. Thyroid would be my first guess. Get a blood test and at least rule it out.
