I am trying to lose some weight. Right now I am doing a 2 day detox before I start. But I just need some advice. I am always on the run and it is hard to find the time to make a meal, so I just want to see if these are the right type of food.
Morning- a piece of fruit with a breakfast lean pocket, or toast and egg substitute with fruit.

Snack- vegetables, fruits, low-cal snacks, under 100 cals from chips ahoy, etc.

Lunch- Turkey sandwich on lite bread, with lettuce and vegetables

Snack- same as above
Dinner- Large ice burg lettuce salad with carrots, cauliflower, a few nuts, fat free italian dressing, a few ff croutons, 3 oz chicken, light cheese.
Snack- Under 50 calories.
Plus lots of water.
I love soda and have always drank diet soda, so would I be stopping my weight loss to drink a glass of diet soda at night.
Also, is it true that baked potatoes are good to have on a diet with nothing on them. I love taters.
I’m kind of following the 3 hour diet, is this any good?
What kinds of foods are something that I don’t need to keep as track of as much? Food I don’t really need to be concerned with.

I’m basing my meals on some of what was said in the 3 hour diet from Jorge Cruise, a little bit of everything at each meal, but I’m not sure this is a good idea or not.

Thanks so much for your help
Also, what would be a list of some good things to get in the house that would be healthy and still easy to make/eat?
