I am starting this diet tomorrow, and I’m a little scared because I LOVE fruit. It’s awesome to snack on and it’s good for you but why is it not okay on this diet? What would be the harm in me adding it in? Also, do you have any good recipes for phase 1 of the SBD?

Hello,
I have been doing the SBD for a long time. Fruit has natural sugars in it, so that’s why it’s not OK to eat it during phase 1. And the purpose of SBD is to decrease your sugar cravings. But Phase 1 is only for 2 weeks. Then you can enjoy Phase 2 approved fruits and even incorporate more fruits in Phase 3.
I love to take 4 chicken breasts and pour a bottle of balsamic vinaigrette over them (in a 13×9 pan). Bake at 350 for 40 mins. Easy dinner! Serve with steamed broccoli with a sprinkle of lemon pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
