I would like to give this a go, but i wouldn’t want to lose much weight as im slim enough as it is! Would this fast make me look healthier? i wouldnt want to look even slimmer and unhealthy.
I feel that my body really needs to have some sort of change through diet and exercise.. and hope that this short fast can give me a boost. I suffer from anxiety, depressive episodes and ibs.. therefore i need to do something! i really feel that my moods can improve if my physical health does.
Any tips on this fast would be much appreciated, such as what kind of fruits to eat and what to eat when breaking the fast. Can i eat nuts? should i add vegetables?

I began using the 3-day fruits and water only modified-fast years ago for health reasons. It is great to clear out the system and I usually loose about 3 to 4 pounds each time. Much of this weight is easily "recovered" once you eat normally again.
I suggest you do not take anything else while doing the modified-fast, but on regular times take a "B-Complex 100" daily, with your breakfast or lunch and it is great to help regulate mood and energy.
For the IBS, reduce starchy foods, avoid breads, dairy and sugars until you are recovered. Consume plenty of vegetables, nuts, meats and sea-foods, and fruits.
Do this for at least one full year. Once your bowel is back to normal, you can add one starch / dairy food every 4 days, and determine if you can continue to eat that according to your reaction to it.
But you will have to limit your dairy and starch for most of your life.

If you eat fruit for 3 days the only thing you will lose is glycogen from your muscles, water and your mind from all the insulin spikes cause by the fruit sugars. Small meals throughout the day (3 hours apart), 3 litres of water, cardio before breakfast, complex carbs and a high protein intake will get you in better shape.
